country.

 Parliament passed the Banking Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024, which allows bank account holders

the first hydrogen-powered Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft ecosystem globally.
 Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) saw a 3.23% surge in stock

price to ₹1,694.15 after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PWD Nagaland for

the supply of eight double-lane modular steel bridges in the state.

 India has taken a significant step towards developing Hyperloop technology by establishing

a Centre of Excellence at IIT Madras. The Research Designs and Standards Organisation

(RDSO), under the Ministry of Railways, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with

IIT Madras, allocating ₹20.89 crore for research and infrastructure development.

Buildcon group.

 The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of 100% equity
shareholding in 11 road special purpose vehicles (SPVs) owned by Ashoka Concessions Limited

(ACL) and Ashoka Buildcon Limited (ABL) by Epic Concesiones 2 Private Limited (EC2PL).

 Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance

Industries Limited (RIL), has acquired 100% equity in Nauyaan Tradings Private Limited

(NTPL) for ₹100,000 from Welspun Tradings Limited, a subsidiary of Welspun Corp Limited.

 PayU, the fintech arm of Prosus, has acquired a 43.5% strategic stake in Mindgate Solutions,

a real-time payments tech company.

Vehicles for the armed forces, at a total cost of around Rs 2,500 crore.

Advanced Systems Limited for the procurement of 155mm/52 Calibre Advanced Towed Artillery

Gun Systems (ATAGS) and High Mobility Vehicle 6×6 Gun Towing Vehicles, respectively, with a

total contract value of approximately Rs 6,900 crore.


 The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Navy successfully

conducted a flight test of the Vertically-Launched Short-Range Surface-to-Air Missile

(VLSRSAM) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, off the Odisha coast.
