Submission Type:File Upload
Description
Dear Participants,
Please go through the following guidelines before you proceed to make your submission
for the project.
1. There are two parts to the submission for the project
Business report: This file will be the primary criterion for evaluation
Supporting file: This file will be used to validate the content of the
business report
2. The file formats for the submission are mentioned below:
Business report - .pdf
Supporting file - .ipynb
The supporting file will be the Python notebook used to conduct the
analysis
3. Please note that in case the business report is not submitted, the
assessment will be graded zero
4. As the business report is the primary criterion for evaluation, kindly make sure that
all the required information asked in the rubric is included in the business report
Some rubric sections might have detailed descriptions associated
with them. Kindly go through the details thoroughly
Mention the problem statement and business context and submit
answers to all the questions in a sequential manner
Include a detailed explanation of the approach taken, inferences, and
insights
Include outputs such as graphs, tables, and all other relevant information
Do not include any codes
Ensure that the report is logical and detailed enough to effectively
communicate the business context and problem, solution
mechanism, analysis conducted, and recommendations to all stakeholders
(who might or might not have a coding background)
Refer to the Evaluation Guidelines document for instructions on how to
make a proper business report
Refer to the Business Report - Dos & Don'ts document for the best practices
5. Submitting the supporting file is mandatory as without it, the business report
cannot be validated
In case the supporting file is not submitted, the assessment will be
graded zero
6. Any assignment found copied/plagiarized with other submissions will not be
graded and awarded zero marks.
7. Please ensure timely submission as any submission post-deadline will not be
accepted for evaluation.
Thanks and Regards

Rubric
Criteria1.1 What is the probability that a randomly chosen player
would suffer an injury?
Points1
Criteria1.2 What is the probability that a player is a forward or a
winger?
Points1
Criteria1.3 What is the probability that a randomly chosen player
plays in a striker position and has a foot injury?
Points2
Criteria1.4 What is the probability that a randomly chosen injured
player is a striker?
Points2
Criteria2.1 What proportion of the gunny bags have a breaking
strength less than 3.17 kg per sq cm?
Points1
Criteria2.2 What proportion of the gunny bags have a breaking
strength at least 3.6 kg per sq cm.?
Points1
Criteria2.3 What proportion of the gunny bags have a breaking
strength between 5 and 5.5 kg per sq cm.?
Points2
Criteria2.4 What proportion of the gunny bags have a breaking
strength NOT between 3 and 7.5 kg per sq cm.?
Points2
Criteria3.1 Zingaro has reason to believe that the unpolished stones
may not be suitable for printing. Do you think Zingaro is justified in
thinking so?"
- State the null and alternate hypotheses - Conduct the hypothesis
test and compute the p-value - Write down conclusions from the test
results Note: Consider the level of significance as 5%."
Points4
Criteria3.2 Is the mean hardness of the polished and unpolished
stones the same?
- State the null and alternate hypotheses. - Conduct the hypothesis
test. - Write down conclusions from the test results.
Note: Consider the level of significance as 5%.
Points4
Criteria4.1 How does the hardness of implants vary depending on
dentists?"
- State the null and alternate hypotheses - Check the assumptions of
the hypothesis test. - Conduct the hypothesis test and compute the
p-value - Write down conclusions from the test results - In case the
implant hardness differs, identify for which pairs it differs Note: 1.
Both types of alloys cannot be considered together. You must
conduct the analysis separately for the two types of alloys. 2. Even if
the assumptions of the test fail, kindly proceed with the test."
Points10
Criteria4.2 How does the hardness of implants vary depending on
methods?"
Points10
Criteria4.3 What is the interaction effect between the dentist and
method on the hardness of dental implants for each type of alloy?"
- Create Interaction Plot - Inferences from the plot Note: Both types
of alloys cannot be considered together. You must conduct the
analysis separately for the two types of alloys."
Points4
Criteria4.4 How does the hardness of implants vary depending on
dentists and methods together?"
- State the null and alternate hypotheses - Check the assumptions of
the hypothesis test. - Conduct the hypothesis test and compute the
p-value - Write down conclusions from the test results - Identify
which dentists and methods combinations are different, and which
interaction levels are different. Note: 1. Both types of alloys cannot
be considered together. You must conduct the analysis separately
for the two types of alloys. 2. Even if the assumptions of the test fail,
kindly proceed with the test."
