Egg Shellz, Hellhound: Spindrive and Death End, Game genre concept: Platformer, Party,
Racing, Action, Adventure
Picked Theme and Title: Egg Shellz, a Party style platformer game
SECTION ONE – Your Project - explain what it is (guide 150 – 200 words)
For this project, I am focusing on the design the game cover, disc and cartridge for game. The idea of
the cover is supposed to show what the games about any noticeable feature that are presented in the
game. The main target audience is going to be dependable on what game title and ideas going to have
throughout the way such as show for images of gameplay, any actions that the characters are doing to
give you an idea of the game without needing to buy it with no brief idea of the game. The main idea is
to bring people to purchase the game with an interesting design with it design reflect it target audiences
(e.g. dark colour for an older audience and light colour for younger audience).
My current design ideas are making a game cover of for party game called Egg Shellz, so I need to use
party game as references like the Mario Party Games and Rayman Raving Rabbids Games as my
inspiration for game boards, characters design. Additionally, I want to add a platformer to game add
something fresh to a typical party game, so if my game cover would show it being bother a party game

and platformer, it could interest people who a fan of party game and platformers into buying the game.
SECTION TWO – What are your influences, Research sources and ideas? (guide 150 words)
Most of my influence for any game cover are from game other game that link to the games title genre
and theme, such as Sonic Mania, Mario Party, Mario Kart 8, Jak II: Renegade an action platformer etc.
so far, I’ve gotten research on other game that would be similar the concept’s idea through a mood
board.
Sonic Mania: A 2D platformer that focus on speed and completing a stage with a fast time.
Mario Kart 8: A racing game that adds items to game and focus on using those items to help you win. many
races
Mario Party: A party game that focus on collecting stars and coins to win with playing minigames to comp for
coins.
Jak II: Renegade: A 3D platformer action game focusing on completing missions’ various difficulties.

SECTION THREE – How will you make your outcome? What materials will you use? (guide 150
words)
The way I’m going to make my project is by using primary sources from game that I own and secondary
from other sources. Additionally, most of the software that I’m going to use in my project will revolves
on will Photoshop and Photopea since it simple and reliable what I’m going to use it for, with using it
shape tools, FX tools etc, procreate to help me design the cover with a basic idea of the characters,
layout, and techniques to develop the design. These programs will be reliable to make anything game
relative, since they’re design for professionally use.
SECTION FOUR – How will you reflect on your work (guide 50 words)
I’m mainly going to reflect on the how it presented, if the target audience is perfectly fitted for the game
cover, every information is correctly on cover. Anything to improve in the future and how to imagine it
as a real brief from a company. Additionally, I would ask from other peer with some of my ideas and
their opinion on my design and what can I improve to the design to make it the best it can be.
