Job Submission and Plotting Guide

Students must delete all pending jobs before submitting their own project, with only one submission allowed per student at a time for either Moon or Mars environments. Each project requires specific geometry and will generate multiple plots for dose equivalent and flux based on different materials and environments. Students uncomfortable with Python plotting can use Excel to generate their plots.

1.

Destroy/delete all the jobs which are pending/still

running.

2. One student in each group can only submit the job

3. How to submit?
One student can submit her/his one project for one
environment (Moon OR Mars at a time) with one
geometry (Al geometry: single layer of 5g/cm^2)
Wait for completion, see results for this job (project)

4. Then that student can submit other jobs (for rest of

geometry: water)
Plots: Dose equivalent:3 plots
One plot: Al, water/PEEK/BN/HBC/….. (see project doc)
Dose equivalent (y axis)
Thickness of shield of materials (5, 10, 15 g/cm^2) (thickness)
There will three more plots (for environment (a) Free space) (b) Mars ©
Lunar

Flux: 9 plots in total

One plot: y axis: flux, x axis: Kinetic energy
One plot: 1 for proton, Al and Material allotted (combined plot) for single
environment (free space)
Three plots for one environment (free space)

Three plots for moon

Three plots for Mars

If anyone who is still not comfortable with plotting with python, they can
generate and plot in Excel
