(ii) Drag cars are designed to cover distances of 400m in about 6 s ,
during this time , the cars accelerate very rapidly from rest ,at the end of
6s , it reaches a speed of 150 m/s,
(1) Calculate the average speed of the drag car. (2.5M)

(2) Calculate its acceleration . (2.5M)

Q2,(a) Find the resultant force on this rocket and find its acceleration if
that has a mass of 6000kg . (5M)

(b) A hammer has a mass of 20 kg ,what is its weight (i) on earth and
(ii) on moon? (g for earth is 10 m/s2 and g for moon is 1.6 m/s2) (5M)
