Introduction
Overview
This document covers procedures for setting up and maintaining the Empire MPX™ video reel
cabinet product from Everi Games Inc.
This document focuses on hardware setup and maintenance. Consult the appropriate software
manual for your system for information about configuring settings, collecting data, and other
software-based tasks.

Safety Information
WARNING: Changes or modifications to the electronic gaming machine (EGM) not expressly
approved by Everi, Inc. could void the user’s authority to operate the EGM.
NOTE: Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) wrist bands should be worn at all times while servicing
Everi, Inc. equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to
cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at the
user’s own expense.
Before servicing the EGM, disconnect the power by turning the main switch off and disconnecting
the EGM from the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in its base. Hazardous voltages exist inside
the EGM. Only trained service personnel should be allowed access to its interior. Electric codes
should be considered in the installation and operation of the EGM.
Getting Started
Unpacking and Inspecting
Unpack and inspect the machine before powering on the EGM. If the machine is damaged in any
way, contact Everi Games Inc. (see Error! Reference source not found..).
Carefully unpack and remove all loose parts and shipping materials. Inspect all components for
damage. Verify that all wire connectors are firmly seated.
Tools
The following tools are recommended for use with this EGM:
NOTE: A screw gun or drill may also be useful when performing certain maintenance or
replacement procedures.
Setting Up
The Empire MPX EGM requires installation as described below.

NOTE: Any time you access the interior of the EGM, you should wear an ESD strap to
prevent damage to its internal components.
2. Route the machine power cord from the power supply through the cable pass-through or
through one of the three cable access openings in the cabinet. See information below.
NOTE: For your safety, do not connect the power cord to a power source yet.

Remove the appropriate cable access cover(s). Unscrew two (2) screws to remove the
outer side covers. Place the outer covers in a bag and put inside the EGM.
3. Install the UPS (P/N 300-10617-00) specifically designed for the Empire cabinet. Route
the UPS power cord through the opening in the bracket and angle the UPS to fit under the
subwoofer. Connect the machine power to the UPS power source.
4. Route the Slot Accounting System (SAS) interface cable and (if supported by your
facility and system) networking cable through one of the three (3) access cable openings
in the cabinet.
5. Connect the SAS interface cable to the proper port on the CPU. The SAS interface cable
is a null modem cable and should be connected to either the port labeled COM1 or the
port labeled COM2. Consult with your facility for the proper connection port.
6. If necessary, connect the networking cable to the Ethernet port on the CPU. Not all game
titles require a network connection.
7. Install the system media as required. Refer to Routing Power and Networking Cables
In the event cables need to be routed to an outlet located underneath or behind the cabinet, follow
the procedure below to plug in or connect cables.
2. Remove a knockout from the cover plate to allow cables to be run in and out of the
bottom of the cabinet.
TIP: To remove a knockout, position the tip of a regular, blade-tip screwdriver just
inside the edge and push down. This movement should partially dislodge the knockout
and allow you to remove it the rest of the way out.
3. Open the bill acceptor and remove a plastic bag (P/N 900-10319-00) which contains
hardware and grommets.
4. Install a grommet to help protect wires which are routed through the opening.
7. If cables need to be routed behind the cabinet, remove the back access panel by removing
two (2) nuts using a 5/16” nut driver.
8. If not installed, install a grommet in the opening and route cables as needed.
9. Connect the UPS power cord to a grounded source and power-on the EGM.
11. Remove a knockout from the cover plate to allow cables to be run in and out of the
bottom of the cabinet.
TIP: To remove a knockout, position the tip of a regular, blade-tip screwdriver just

12. Open the bill acceptor and remove a plastic bag (P/N 900-10319-00) which contains

System Media
The following figure indicates the correct placement of system media for the Quixant CPU:
NOTE: Game titles/themes created specifically for Empire MPX cabinets will NOT work on
other cabinet styles or models, even if they are running on the same MForce platform version. DO
NOT ATTEMPT to swap Empire MPX games with other cabinet types.
Port Diagrams
NOTE: Refer to the applicable MForce platform operator manual for specific guidance.
Display port and USB cables must be connected to specific ports located on the CPU to ensure
operability. These locations are determined by the MForce platform version.
NOTE: Ensure ESD wrist bands are available and that the technician is wearing one before
any work or maintenance begins.
The following should be performed on the EGM as part of a routine general preventative
maintenance plan:
• Vacuum the interior of the cabinet and remove all dust and debris.
• Clean the monitor and LCD Button deck screen(s) with an antistatic, nonabrasive cloth.
• Wipe down the cabinet exterior. Clean deck buttons and bill acceptor face plate.
• Clean bill acceptor validator module optics and cash cassette rollers.
• Inspect bill acceptor wire harness for frayed or cracked wires and verify all wire
connectors are firmly seated.
• Inspect the labels for peeling or torn edges and replace as necessary.
• Replace printed circuit board (PCB) batteries. Replacing the main CPU PCB battery
requires configuring time and daylight saving BIOS settings. See the software manual for
your system for more information.
Hardware Components
NOTE: Ensure ESD wrist bands are available and that the technician is wearing one before
any work or maintenance begins.
NOTE: Follow your standard operating procedure for ordering and replacing parts, as well as
consult with the local property or jurisdiction as required.
NOTE: Follow your standard procedures to return used or broken parts to Everi, Inc. as required
by the local jurisdiction or property.
Certain components, known as field replaceable units (FRUs), will need to be replaced as part of
the routine maintenance plan for the Empire MPX EGM or in the event of a hardware failure. This
section deals with the replacement of these parts.

WARNING: Equipment damage or personal injury can result from failure to take proper
precaution in the following procedures. Use caution when installing or removing door gas springs
and switches.

Locks
The Empire MPX EGM has the following locks:
Audio Components
This section deals with the replacement of the EGM audio components.
1. Unlock the service door and use the slider to release the top door.
2. Open and detach the door for access into the EGM.
4. Disconnect the two cables that connect the subwoofer to the main harness which are
located on the lower right side of the subwoofer near the back of the cabinet.
5. Remove the one nut securing the subwoofer to the back wall of the cabinet.
8. Line the new subwoofer up on the mounting posts and replace the mounting nuts and
screws.
NOTE: When performing this procedure, using a flexible socket extension may help you
reach certain nuts or components located in hard-to-reach places inside the EGM.
1. Open and detach the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor.

5. Disconnect monitor cables and the spotlight cable at the panel mount connector on back
of the monitor.
7. Disconnect dashboard cable at panel mount connector from monitor lift bracket.
8. Remove six (6) screws and three (3) nuts to remove the dashboard from the monitor lift
bracket.

9. Remove eleven (11) screws and separate the plastic cover from the dashboard sheet metal
assembly.
10. Remove four (4) screws and remove the faulty speaker.
11. Install the new speaker into the dashboard sheet metal assembly and re-attach the plastic
cover using the hardware that was removed.
Bill Acceptor
Empire MPX EGM’s support multiple bill acceptors including, but not limited to the following
most common:
• JCM Universal™
NOTE: Empire MPX EGMs support bill acceptors with only a 600 note capacity.
Unless otherwise specified, the following instructions apply to all supported models.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor.
4. Pull forward latch pin while lifting up on the bill acceptor head until the bill acceptor
housing latches in a raised position.
5. Pull the bill acceptor head up and out of the cabinet to remove it.
6. Push the new bill acceptor head straight in and into place in the bill acceptor housing.
7. Pull rear latch pin and push bill acceptor head down until bill acceptor housing is latched
in the lowered position.
WARNING: You must rotate the bill acceptor head down so you do not damage it
when lowering the monitor.
8. Check the locking mechanism on the bill acceptor head to ensure that it is firmly seated.
NOTE: Never use a petroleum-based or alcohol-based product to clean this device, as this will
damage the bill path. Mild, non-abrasive soap is preferred.
NOTE: If cleaning the bill acceptor head, a small amount of mild non-abrasive soap can be
applied, using a damp cloth. Make sure no streaks or residue from the cleaning product remains
on the bill path.
NOTE: The cleaning procedure involves opening the front sensor area. If you do not remove
the front sensor area without removing the module from the chassis, you will damage the connector
board at the rear of the acceptor module.
The following instructions describe how to clean or clear a jam inside the bill acceptor head:
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor.
4. Pull forward latch pin while lifting up on the bill acceptor head until the bill acceptor
housing latches in a raised position.
5. Lift up on the locking and release mechanism at the bottom of the bill acceptor head.
10. Push the bill acceptor head straight in and into place in the bill acceptor housing
11. Pull rear latch pin and push bill acceptor head down until bill acceptor housing is latched
in the lowered position.
WARNING: You must rotate the bill acceptor head down so you do not damage it
when lowering the monitor.
12. Check the locking mechanism on the bill acceptor head to ensure that it is firmly seated.
1. Open the bill acceptor door and the cash can (or bill acceptor chassis) door.
2. Grab the strap on the cash box and pull firmly to release it from the chassis.
3. Insert the new cash box into the bill acceptor chassis and push straight back to seat it. The
cash box has slots on both sides that help you guide it into the bill acceptor chassis. When
you slide the cash box into the chassis, you will feel resistance from the two springs inside
the chassis. Make sure you insert the cash box all the way in, so that the rear of the cash
box is flush against the chassis wall.
3. Pull the door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor in order to gain
access to the bill acceptor.

4. Pull forward latch pin while lifting up on the bill acceptor head until the bill acceptor
housing latches in a raised position.
5. Lift up on the locking and release mechanism at the bottom of the bill acceptor head.

7. Disconnect the system interface cable that connects the chassis to the system wiring
harness. It is connected with a Molex plug.
8. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four mounting screws at the rear of the chassis.
10. Insert the new chassis and secure in place using the four mounting screws.
12. Reinstall the bill acceptor head and the cash box.
13. Pull rear latch pin and push bill acceptor head down until bill acceptor housing is latched
in the lowered position.
WARNING: You must rotate the bill acceptor head down so you do not damage it
when lowering the monitor.
14. Check the locking mechanism on the bill acceptor head to ensure that it is firmly seated.
Buttons
Empire MPX has a combination of mechanical and touch-screen buttons. The mechanical buttons
include the Service, Cash Out, and Play buttons. Press the service button to alert the facility’s staff
that an issue has occurred requiring service to the EGM. Press the Cash Out button to print a
voucher and remove any remaining credits on the EGM. Press the Play button to play the desired
credits.
The LCD button deck is the primary means through which players will interact with the Empire
MPX EGM. Touch any button on the screen to play the desired credits, including Max Bet.
NOTE: After completing the following procedures to replace the LCD button deck or
mechanical buttons, certain software settings will need to be configured. Also, if required, calibrate
the LCD button deck display in accordance with the operator manual for your software version.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Unlock the belly door, the lock is located underneath the EGM button deck.
4. You will have access to four screws, remove these screws and you will be able to push
the button deck up and out of the cabinet.

5. Unplug cable from Quixant and power supply. Feed this cable out of the machine as you
lift cable out.
6. Feed the new cable in where the old cable was previously.
7. Install the new LCD button deck, route and connect the LCD button deck cable (display
port and USB) to the previous port locations on the Quixant CPU backplane and connect
to the power. Secure the button deck with the four screws previously removed.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor.
5. Remove screw located behind the buttons and the panel comes off.
6. Remove the two nuts that secure the button assembly. Remove the button assembly.
7. Press the four tabs on the side of the desired button assembly to push the button forward
to release it from the metal bracket.
8. Insert the new button(s) into the metal casing until it clicks into place.
9. Secure the button to the dashboard assembly using the two nuts previously removed.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Unlock the belly door, the lock is located underneath the EGM button deck.
3. Remove two (2) securing screws and the door swings down.
4. Remove ten (10) nuts that hold down the arm rest.

6. Disconnect the Play button from the belly door wiring harness, you will be able to lift the
arm rest and button deck up and turn over.
7. Remove the Play button using a flat head screwdriver to disengage the four (4) snap tabs.
11. Close and lock belly door, reinstall the two (2) belly door screws.
CPU
WARNING: These procedures cause irrevocable loss of meter and history data which might
be required by properties and jurisdictional regulators. Ensure that you have recorded all required
information before clearing EGM memory upon initial startup after the conversion is complete.
Refer to the appropriate operator manual for more detailed information.
NOTE: Procedures for addressing conversions, installations, and replacement issues are
dictated by the local property. Be sure to follow the appropriate procedure for the unique
jurisdiction and property.
The central processing unit (CPU) contains the system logic board, memory, interface hardware,
and all network connections.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Open the locked logic area of the CPU and remove the motherboard tray.
3. Transfer all required system media from the old motherboard to the new motherboard.
Load any new system media, as required. The figure below displays the correct locations
for all media types.
4. Insert the new motherboard tray into the logic area of the Quixant CPU backplane. Push
it in until it locks into the backplane.
5. Close and lock the logic area of the Quixant CPU backplane.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Open the locked logic area of the CPU backplane and remove the motherboard tray. If
replacing the motherboard tray, refer to Replacing the Quixant CPU Motherboard once
the new backplane is installed.

4. Unscrew the Quixant CPU backplane from the bottom mounting bracket by removing the
two #6 horizontal screws from the front of the CPU and the single captive screw toward
the backplane of the CPU. The rear thumb screw is hidden and accessible through the
opening after the CPU tray has been removed.
5. Lift up on the CPU backplane then forward to remove it from the pins on the mounting
plate.
6. Place the new Quixant CPU backplane (P/N 400-10748-00) inside the cabinet, secure the
CPU backplane with the same screws and mounting points as the previous backplane.
8. Insert the appropriate motherboard tray with system media installed into the logic area of
the Quixant CPU backplane until it clicks.
9. Close and lock the logic area of the Quixant CPU backplane.
In the event the Quixant CPU backplane is replaced, check that the new backplane includes the
extension bracket. If not, the new CPU backplane would need to be equipped with the extension
bracket.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. If the CPU backplane is replaced, remove the two nuts securing the extension bracket to
the old CPU backplane and attach the extension bracket to the new CPU backplane.
3. Close and lock the logic area of the Quixant CPU backplane.
NOTE: If 2-pin to 3-pin cable is missing, replacement can be ordered under P/N 502-10189-00
3. Plug the SATADOM and the 2-pin end of the cable into the QX-40, and zip tie as shown
4. Locate the two slots for the SDRAM on the QX-40. Remove existing 4GB SDRAM
cards. Flip open the arms if not already in the open position.
5. Verify orientation of the card matches that of the slot using the keyhole as a guide.
NOTE: Forcing an incorrectly placed card can result in damage.
6. Insert the two SDRAM cards into the slots on the QX-40. Each card must click into
place. The arms will automatically close on the card if correctly inserted.
7. Affix the included PCBA label to the front of the CPU tray, over the previous label.
NOTE: After performing previous steps and applying PCBA label, the CPU part number
changes to P/N 400-10712-01.
NOTE: Any materials left over from the install may be discarded. Do not return the 4GB
SDRAM to Everi Manufacturing.
Display
The Empire MPX has one 43” monitor display. If the 43” monitor display develops a functional
defect or becomes severely chipped, scratched, broken, or discolored, it should be replaced. This
section details procedures for configuring and replacing the monitor.

1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to open the top door.

5. Disconnect monitor cables and the spotlight cable at the panel mount connector on back
of the monitor.
8. Reconnect the EGM's Display (DVI), touch USB, and power cables to the replacement
monitor.
Lights
This section deals with replacing the tower light, LED boards, and the LED control board. It also
discusses service lights and functionality.
NOTE: If the new tower light is a different style than the previous one (two-tier vs three-tier
etc.) it is necessary to reconfigure the system. Consult the appropriate software manual for your
system.
Follow the instructions below to replace the tower light when mounted to the EGM:
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Remove the candle rear access panel. You will need to remove four (4) screws.
4. Remove the four exterior securing screws (two on each side) from the tower light mount.
5. Remove the two screws securing the tower light to the tower light mount and remove the
ground cable.
6. Secure the new tower light onto the previous tower light mount with the two screws,
reconnecting the tower light ground cable.
8. Position the replacement tower light assembly on top of the EGM in place of the previous
light.
9. Secure the tower light in place using the four exterior securing screws previously
removed.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to open the belly door.

5. Disconnect monitor cables and the spotlight cable at the panel mount connector on back of
the monitor.
7. Remove the spotlight cable panel mount connector bracket from back of monitor.
8. Remove four (4) screws and four (4) nuts that attach the tower assembly to the monitor
and remove tower.
10. Reconnect the spotlight tower assembly to the system wiring harness and the EGM’s
Display (DVI), touch USB, and power cables to the monitor.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Unlock the belly door, the lock is located underneath the EGM button deck.
3. Remove two (2) securing screws and the door swings down.
4. Remove ten (10) nuts that hold down the arm rest.

5. You will have access to four screws, remove these screws and you will be able to lift the
arm rest and button deck up and turn over.

7. Remove cables from each connector. There are two connectors, one on each board.
8. Install new PCB boards and reconnect the cables to the connectors.
10. Close and lock belly door, reinstall the two (2) belly door screws.
Replacing the Back Lights for the Bill Acceptor and the Voucher Printer
The openings of the bill acceptor and the voucher printer are back-lit by two identical printed
circuit boards (PCB).
If these lights cease to function or if the PCB becomes otherwise damaged, it must be replaced.
1. Open and detach the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor.
4. For the bill acceptor PCB, loosen the two securing screws from the dashboard to remove
the PCB assembly. Disconnect the PCB from the dashboard wiring harness.

5. For the voucher printer PCB, remove the two screws that secure the printer funnel and
PCB assembly from the underside of the dashboard.

6. Replace the PCBs by installing a new board into place and securing it with the screws.
3. Remove the cam and save it for later use with the new lock.
4. If applicable, remove the washer located between the cam and the main lock assembly.
6. Align the new lock into its position, including the spring and ball bearing pieces.
7. Insert the washer. If necessary, use the one from the previous lock.
9. Replace the locking nut removed from the previous lock. If the lock turns in the wrong
direction, reverse the direction of the turning ring.
NOTE: Refer to the appropriate manufacturer’s manual for SAS-N or card reader replacement
procedures.

4. To remove the panel, unplug all cables from each component on the panel.
5. Unscrew mounting nuts and slide the player tracking panel forward.
7. Reconnect all the appropriate cables for each component on the panel.
Power Supply
The EGM power supply distributes power to the CPU.
NOTE: A battery backup can be stored in the EGM base, if required by the property.
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
3. Using a 5/16 nut driver or wrench, remove the two nuts connecting the power supply
bracket to the middle partition.
5. Install the new power supply and reconnect all power cables.
Switches
Empire MPX EGMs are equipped with plastic pressure switches. These switches notify the system
that a door is opened or closed, as well as the current state (operating or service position) of the
ticket printer, bill acceptor, and cash box.
Replacing Switches
Follow the instructions below to replace a switch:
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Locate the switch that is to be replaced. This might require opening additional cabinet
doors.
3. Disconnect the appropriate switch from the system wiring harness. It is connected using a
Molex plug. This might require removing other hardware components in order to access
the wiring harness.
4. Squeeze the plastic tabs on either side of the door switch mechanism and push it outward
from the cabinet chassis to remove it.
7. Replace any hardware components that were removed during the procedure.
Voucher Printer
Empire MPX EGM’s support multiple voucher printers including, but not limited to the
following most common:
Unless otherwise specified, the following instructions apply to all supported models.
1. Open the printer cover and remove all tickets from the ticket feed path.
3. Insert the cleaning card into the feed path. The printer automatically draws the cleaning
card into the feed path.
4. Open the printer cover and remove the cleaning card by gently pulling it back.
1. Open and detach the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to release the monitor.
4. Release the printer from its locked service position by pulling on the spring plunger to the
right of the printer.
5. Pull the latch pin that secures the printer/cradle assembly to support the bracket.
6. Disconnect any system cables that are attached to the printer. (On FutureLogic GEN2
Universal printers, this includes a Molex plug on the top of the unit. On Nanoptix
Paycheck printers, this includes a ribbon cable at the rear of the unit.)
7. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the mounting screws that hold the printer to the
cradle (sheet metal assembly).
8. Replace the printer on the cradle and reinstall using the printer/cradle assembly.
9. Reconnect any system cables to the printer. Slide the printer onto its guide and push it
back into its operating service position. Ensure the latch pin is fully engaged.

b) To replace the entire USB panel assembly, remove the four (4) nuts that secure the
assembly to the player deck.
Fans
1. Open the EGM service door and power down the EGM.
2. Pull the upper door release lever, located inside the EGM to open the belly door.

5. Disconnect monitor cables and the spotlight cable at the panel mount connector on back
of the monitor.
10. Reconnect the EGM's Display (DVI), touch USB, and power cables to the monitor.
Network Switch
2. Use the two number -10 Phillips pan head screws to secure the mounting tray to the
switch.
3. Place one side of the magnet against the bottom of the mounting tray.
1. The mounting tray should already be installed, if it needs to be replaced see Installing
Network Switch Mounting Tray and Magnet for installation instructions.
2. Connect and route switch network cables before installing the switch.
3. Place the switch with magnet on the mounting surface provided behind the monitor.
WARNING: Do not place the switch with its front panel facing up. The front panel
should face down or to the side to allow sufficient airflow.
Chair Support
4. Using two (2) field technicians, raise the front end of the cabinet and insert the adapter
bracket underneath.
WARNING: Tilting the cabinet can cause it to easily fall over.
5. Install three nuts using a 3/8” nut driver to secure the bracket to the base plate.
TIP: Use a magnetic nut driver to help install the nuts.
7. Using two screws, assemble the two pieces of the latch block.
8. Using three screws, install the latch block to the foot rest.
2. Open and detach the service door and power down the EGM.
3. Pull the lower monitor release lever to release the 27” monitor. Raise the 27” monitor.
4. Pull the dashboard lever to release the dashboard. Raise the dashboard.
5. In the upper left side of the cabinet, disconnect the L/R, ARM, BELLY cable (P/N 502-
10140-01) from the Darlington board inside the EGM.
6. Connect one end of the provided LIGHT TABLE E43 cable (P/N 502-10283-00) to the
Darlington board, and the other end to the L/R, ARM, BELLY cable.
7. Route the 4 pin Molex of the LIGHT TABLE E43 cable through the internal pass-
through, down the inside of the EGM, and out through the side pass-through.

8. Remove the two (2) screws from the right side of the belly door.
9. Remove the side caps from the inside of the EGM using a short screwdriver.

11. Secure the table to the belly door using 2 x 10-32 x 1” Phillip pan head screws.
NOTE: You may need to lift the table to the appropriate height in order to attach.
12. Secure the bottom panel of the table through the 2nd and 4th holes to the cabinet using 2 x
10-32 x 3” Phillips pan head screws with washers.
NOTE: Ensure the table does not pinch the cables during this step.
13. Connect the 4 pin Molex from the LIGH TABLE E43 cable to the 4 pin Molex spotlight
cable from the table assembly (P/N 400-104600-00).
14. Screw the bracket (P/N 203-11264-00) to the underside of the table using a 6-32” P-12
screw.
15. Secure the middle close out panel (P/N 400-10455-00) to the table using 2 x 6-32” P-38
Phillips head screw and to the EGM using the magnetic anchor point.
16. Move the next cabinet near the right side of the table.
17. Repeat steps 2 – 12, ignoring all cabling described in steps 5, 6, 7, and 13 to attach the
second cabinet to the table.
18. Repeat steps 2 – 17 until each cabinet and table are installed.
NOTE: Before closing the pod configuration and installing the last cabinet, route the
network and power cables out the back of the cabinet.

Possible Cause: Loose wiring.
Solution: Check the USB plug. If loose, reconnect firmly.
