📘 Free Subject-Wise Study Plan for SSC

CGL Exam
This is a free subject-wise study guide for SSC CGL aspirants. It covers all four core subjects
asked in SSC CGL Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams: General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative
Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language.

🧠 1. General Intelligence & Reasoning


- Practice 20 questions daily from the following topics:

• Analogy, Classification, Series, Coding-Decoding

• Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Venn Diagrams

• Syllogism, Statement & Conclusion, Missing Number

- Use books like R.S. Aggarwal or apps like Testbook/Adda247

🔢 2. Quantitative Aptitude (Maths)


- Practice 15–20 questions from each topic in a cycle:

• Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio, Time & Work

• SI & CI, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, DI

- Daily revision + weekly mock tests

- Recommended Book: Fast Track Arithmetic (Rajesh Verma)

🌍 3. General Awareness
- Read daily current affairs (1 page/day)

- Weekly revision of:

• Polity (Constitution, Fundamental Rights)

• History (Modern India), Geography (India/World)

• Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry), Static GK

- Use Lucent GK or NCERT 6–10 for basics


📘 4. English Language & Comprehension
- Daily tasks:

• Read a newspaper editorial (The Hindu/Indian Express)

• Learn 5–10 new vocabulary words

- Practice grammar rules (active/passive, narration, articles)

- Topics: Cloze Test, Para Jumbles, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks

- Use books: SP Bakshi (Arihant), Wren & Martin

📌 Final Tips:
- Start with Tier 1 topics, then gradually move to Tier 2 level questions

- Take full-length mock tests every weekend

- Focus more on accuracy than speed in the beginning
