Instructions:
A. Dataset Creation (22 points):
1. Choose a topic for your assignments. Write a paragraph detailing your choice in a sheet (named
“topic”). (2 points)
2. Create a dataset, on a separate sheet (named “dataset”), that is directly related to your topic as
follows:
• The dataset must contain at least 100 rows with appropriate records that are related to

for easier analysis.
2. Create a small dashboard in the same sheet with at least 10 different formula queries using
Excel formulas such as: SUMIFS, AVERAGEIF, MINIFS, MAXIFS, etc. At least 2 of your
formulas must be SUMIFS and MINIFS with at least 5 parameters. Add a note next to each
formula to explain & clarify its need, while labeling them with roman numbers (3 points each).
C. Pivot Tables: (30 points)
1. In a separate sheet (named “pivot”), create a set of Pivot Tables to match the formulas from
part B. At least 2 pivot tables must combine the results of 2 or more formulas. Label each
pivot table with the corresponding roman numbers. (3 points each)
