According to the article “A Greener Lifestyle: Small Steps, Big Impact”
answer the questions below. Write complete sentences. Don’t forget to
use modal verbs and conditionals in your answers.
2.1. What are two ways people can reduce energy
consumption? Explain.
One way people can reduce energy consumption is by turning
off lights and electronic devices when they are not in use. This
prevents wasted electricity and helps reduce energy demand.
Another important way is to opt for more sustainable modes
of transport, such as walking, cycling or using public transport
instead of private vehicles. This helps reduce carbon
emissions and lessens the environmental impact of fossil fuel
consumption.
2.2. What kind of changes have you adopted at home to
have a greener future? Describe 2 of them.
At home, I have adopted two changes to contribute to a
greener future. First, I have reduced the use of disposable
plastics by using reusable bags and reusable water bottles
instead of buying plastic bottles. This helps to decrease the
amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills and oceans.
Second, I have started separating recyclable waste, such as
paper, cardboard, glass and plastic, so that it can be recycled
properly. This way, pollution is reduced and the use of
materials is encouraged instead of generating more waste.

little.

One of the funniest
Plan memories from my school
days occurred during a

school, when we were asked

from scratch. While my
satisfaction classmates and I were
working on the mixture, we
started imagining how we
would decorate our bar of
soap, but we soon realized
that we had not brought
enough materials to do so.
When it came time to
decorate, we used
everything we could find
within our reach: glitter,
stickers, food coloring, and
other improvised elements.
The result was a soap that
looked unattractive, almost
hideous, but at the same
time funny. The experience
taught us a valuable lesson
about the importance of
planning and organizing
before executing any
project.
During my time in school, I
always enjoyed physical
education classes, so I used
to wear sportswear
frequently. However, in the
mornings I would wear my
uniform correctly, as I have
always liked to look good
and present myself
appropriately. Overall, I
remember my educational
process with great
satisfaction, since each
experience, both in the
classroom and outside of it,
contributed to my personal
and academic growth.
