2.3 Form work( Only Labor)
The Contractor shall be responsible for the design and stability of the
formwork and false work. All forms shall be of wrought lumber and shall be
built mortar tight and of sufficient, rigidity to prevent distortion due to the
pressure of the concrete and other loads incident to the construction
operations.
Forms shall be constructed and maintained so as to prevent warping and the
opening of joints due to shrinkage of the lumber. Forms shall be inspected by the
Engineer prior to installation of reinforcement The number of spacing of the
form struts and braces shall be such that the forms will be braced rigidly and
uniformly lock joints between form sections shall be free from play or
movement.

2.4 Reinforcement bar
All reinforcement shall be placed strictly in accordance with the drawings and as
instructed by the Eng. The ties, links or stirrups connecting the bars shall be put
so that the bars are properly braced the inside of their curved part small be in
actual contact with the bars, around which they are intended to fit. Wire for
bending reinforcement bars shall be of soft black mild steel wire.
The binding shall be twisted tight with proper pliers. The free ends of the
binding wire shall be bent inwards. Steel reinforcement shall be protected at all
times from injury. When placed in the work, it shall be free from dirt, paint, oil,
rust, grease or other foreign substances. Splicing: All reinforcement shall be
furnished in the full lengths indicated on the drawings.
Splicing bars, except where shown on the drawing, will not be permitted without
the written approval of the Eng. Splices shall be staggered as far as
possible.Additional splices, other than those shown on the drawings; and allowed
by the Eng., shall be at the contractor’s own expense. The cost of all supports for
holding reinforcement bars shall be borne by the Contractor. Price includes
cutting, bending, placing in position, tying wire and concrete spacers.

5.PLASTERING
Supply, prepare and apply two coats of cement plaster to internal wall, Column
surfaces, Stair soffit, and ceiling surfaces where indicated on the drawings and in
accordance with the technical specifications. The proportioning of the first two
coats (Base Coats) shall be as indicated on the standard specs. Price shall include
pre-cleaning, edge plastering, post cleaning and at the joints of block walls and
concrete surfaces

6. PAINTING---with material
Apply three coats of Varnish paint to the internal masonary wall. Finally clean all

(internal wall surfaces)
Apply three coats of plastic emulsion paint to internal walls as per the given
architectural drawing. Surfaces shall be clean by removing grease, dust or any
other alien attachments. Finishing coats shall be applied evenly over the whole
surface to give a solid film free from brush marks, sags, runs, orange peeling or
other defects. All repairs shall be primed before undercoating is applied. Finally
clean all areas affected by painting, washing, and paint removal mechanisms and
polishing surface to ensure that no paint marks are left on the affected areas.
