Juspay Interview Process:

Please find below the SDE hiring process.

Round 1 - Online Test:


● 3 questions will be given on HackerEarth - Duration: 1 hr 30 min.

Round 2 - Hackathon Part A:


Part A of the problem statement is conducted on HackerEarth.

● Candidates can join the test by logging in to the link shared by the HR team at the
given/specific time slots.
● The time duration for Part A is 3 hours; it should be completed and submitted within
the given time frame.
● Generic FAQs related to Part A are shared within the test as a note; kindly read
through them to get a better understanding of the problem statement.
● Please read the guidelines mentioned on HackerEarth as well before starting the
test.
● Coding can be done in any language.
● If you need assistance during the test, click the question mark (?) in the lower-right
corner of the page to raise a ticket. (We will check the queries when we review your
reports and will get back to you if required.)

Round 3 - Hackathon Part B:


Part B of the problem statement is conducted on Slack channels.

● Candidates who clear Part A will be notified by email and will receive a Google Meet
link, date, and time to participate in Part B.
● Usually, Part B takes the entire day; your availability will be required for the entire
day.
● A Google Meet link will be shared for Day 2, Part B, and candidates should join the
introduction call 15 minutes before the start of the discussion.
● The introduction will be initiated by a core tech team member/founder of Juspay. The
discussion will be about the company, products, projects, and culture.
● Slack invites will be shared a day before via email.
● During the introduction call, Part B will be explained, and the problem statement will
be shared in individual Slack channels. Candidates should discuss and share their
approach in these channels.
● Part B coding should be done once the interviewer approves the approach and asks
you to code.
● Coding can be done in any language.
● Each candidate is allocated an interviewer for discussion/help/queries in their
individual channels.

Round 4 - Interviews on Google Meet:

● Candidates who clear Part B will move to the interview stage.


● Interviews will be conducted via Google Meet.
Juspay Interview Questions:

Note: All test cases will be hidden. (One sample test case will be visible)

Round 1 - Online Test:

1. Converging Maze: Largest Sum Cycle.


2. Converging Maze: Maximum Weight Node.
3. Converging Maze: Nearest Meeting Cell.

Round 2 - Hackathon Part A:

1. Juspay - Tree of Space - Locking and Unlocking N-Ary Tree.

Round 3 - Hackathon Part B:

● Technical HR round, which will take the entire day.


● Technical questions will be available.
● The main task is to make your program (Part A) thread-safe (without using Mutex,
Semaphore, etc.) and prevent race conditions.
● The Part A solution will be shared in Slack.

Round 4 - Interviews on Google Meet:

● Questions about your resume.


● Make sure you know each and every word in your resume. Never include projects or
skills you are not confident about.
● Scenario-based questions covering topics such as System Design, OS, Networking,
DSA, and DBMS. These questions will be combined with multiple topics based on
your resume.
