About the Leap
This is an opportunity to join Flipkart's Data Engineering team as a Data Engineer. You will be responsible
for designing and implementing scalable data products that support the diverse data processing, science, and
analytics needs across the organization. Your work will directly enable data-driven decision-making
throughout Flipkart's business, analytics, and operations, impacting the core of India's leading e-commerce
platform.
Youʼll be responsible for
Creating robust and scalable data applications to
process terabytes of data in real-time.
Working closely with data scientists, product
managers, and data platform teams to understand
functional needs.
Utilizing the underlying technology stack to build
efficient data solutions.
Building products and applications that empower
informed choices across various business
functions.
These things will set you up for success
Exceptional Problem-Solving Robust Technical Foundation,
& Analytical Skills, strong Deep understanding of Computer
ability to dissect complex Science fundamentals, including
problems and derive effective programming, distributed systems,
data solutions. networks, databases, and system
internals.
Excellent Communication Ability to Multitask
Strong written and verbal Being capable of managing
communication skills for effective multiple requirements and
collaboration with diverse teams. projects concurrently.
Compensation
The stipend for internship is 1 Lac
The CTC for the full time-role is 32.58 LPA
This includes components such as the base pay, variable pay,
ESOPs, and other benefits. More details will be shared during the
pre-placement talk)
Hiring Process
Screening
Your profile will be evaluated for technical & functional
capabilities, relevant experience, and fitment for the role.
Online Assessment
Assessment can be in the form of a test (tech/non-tech),
group discussion case study, problem-solving approach
or other relevant methods to assess your
technical/functional skills
Interviews
Typically 23 interview rounds in which we assess your engineering/functional skills, domain
expertise, and alignment with future fit and learning interest.
Offer Roll-out/LOI
Final selects will receive a letter of intent from Flipkart, and subsequently the offer letter.
