Visit the GeM Portal:


 Go to the official GeM website: gem.gov.in

2. Choose Your Registration Type:


 Select whether you are registering as a seller (to list products/services) or a buyer (to
procure goods/services).

3. Provide Business Information:


 Fill in the required details about your business, including:
o Name
o Address
o Contact Information
o PAN Card
o GST Registration Certificate
o Udyog Adhaar (MSME Certificate)
o Bank Details (Cancelled Cheque Copy)

4. Upload Required Documents:


 Upload scanned copies of the following documents:
o PAN Card
o GST Registration Certificate
o Udyog Adhaar (MSME Certificate)
o Cancelled Cheque Copy
o Other relevant documents as required by the portal

5. Complete the Online Form:


 Carefully review all the information you have entered and ensure its accuracy.

6. Verify Your Account:


 You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number.
 Enter the OTP to verify your account.

7. Account Review and Approval:


 Once you have completed the registration process, your account will be reviewed by
the GeM authorities.
 Once approved, you can start listing your products or begin procurement activities.
Important Notes:
 GeM registration is free for both sellers and buyers.
 Transaction charges may apply based on the order value, which are outlined on the
GeM portal.
 All Central and State government ministries, departments, autonomous bodies,
public sector units, and local bodies are authorized to make procurements through
the GeM portal.
