Before we start our lesson this afternoon, let us have an


activity first. I will present a picture using PowerPoint.
Please observe the picture carefully, because afterwards I
will be asking someone to describe the pictures in
sentences. Am I clear class?
Yes, Sir.

Very Good! Now, what have you observe on your answers?

It uses words that describes something or someone sir.


Exactly! In fact, there are a lot of words that describe
something or someone.

So be with me this morning as we are going to tackle a new


lesson about Adjective Phrase. Everybody read.

I want you to listen and participate attentively because at Adjective Phrase


the end of the lesson you are expected to attain the
following objectives:

Objectives:
a. Determine adjectives and it’s use in a sentence.

b. Perform differentiated activities that shows


understanding about adjective phrase.

c. Value the importance of kindness in everyday

Now class, before we proceed to our next topic this


afternoon, let’s have first an activity called “READ &
DISCOVER”. May I ask someone to read the mechanics. Student do as told.

Mechanics

1. The class will be divided into 3 groups.


2. Each group will be given 3 sentences and identify
the adjective phrase each sentence.
3. The task must be done within 5 minutes.
4. The activity must be presented in front in a creative
way.

Are the mechanics clear to you class? Yes, Sir.

Now, go to your respective group in the count of 5,4,3,2,1. Student do as told.

Alright! I guess everybody had fun with our activity. Now,


let me ask you a question. How were you able to come up
with the correct answer?
He used descriptive words in describing the object.

Yes, you are right. He didn’t just used one word, he used
phrases that described the object. These are called adjective
phrase, and that’s what we will learn today.
