Course Description:

Welcome to the Goetia and Grimoire Magic course! This course provides 10 recorded lessons.
The lessons are taught at the introductory/primer level for goetia and grimoire magic, but they
do presume a basic familiarity with magic and experience in basic practices such as protection
magic, circle casting, spell casting, and invocation work, etc. Each live online lesson is an hour
plus and includes three parts:

1. Direct instruction on central Goetia and grimoire magic concepts .

2. A hands-on practice session in which students will actually do spirit magic.
3. A recorded Q&A discussion session on course topics.

The material covered focuses on the grimoire tradition from across the combined archaic,
syncretic, and medieval grimoire timeframes, while at the same time drawing on a number of
living traditions of spirit work. Goetia 101 lessons take you step-by-step through the archaic
goetia & grimoire traditions beginning with simple practices anyone can do anywhere and at any
time, and moving toward more advanced methods to prepare you to perform full on evocations
to forge pacts with spirits using the full arsenal of grimoiric methods.

Invocation to Hecate (Adapted from JSK’s Goetic Liturgy)

I invoke thee, Hecate, Goddess of Witchcraft, Lady of the Crossroads

O ruler of the darkest night, Queen of the Earth, Sea, and Sky: Diva Triformis,
Tergemina, Mediator of the realms, Thee, thee I invoke!
Thou with the crescent moon for thy diadem on thy brow –the sign of thy might, thee,
thee I invoke!
Thou who art adorned with the holy garland, and whose hair shines like the silver
moonlight, Thee, thee I invoke.
In your hand is the herald’s wand of Hermes, thee, thee I invoke!
Thou who bearest the flame-bright torch, thee, thee I invoke!
Thou who guardeth the serpent girdle and the key to the realms, thee, thee I invoke!
Thou whose sandal is of gleaming gold, thee, thee I invoke!
Thou whose coming is heralded by the baying of dogs, thee, thee I invoke!
Come thou forth, and make all spirits subject unto me, so that every spirit of the land,
and the sea, and under the earth, and of the whirling air,
and of the rushing fire, and every spell and scourge of the gods may be obedient unto
me!
Behold, I am she: Kore, Mother, and Hag! I am the night and the mother of night
–Sovereign Lady of the Darkened ways!
I am friend and guide to those who have passed!
My triform self traverses all the worlds! I open the gates, for I am the key!
I bear the torch for those who have gone beyond –by my flame they are brought to
Elysium!
Behold she is in me & I in her! I am she: Goddess of Crossroads and Mother of Sorcery!
Traveler of byways from Olympus to Hades! I am Hecate, mistress of Witchcraft!
I am the maiden who hunts with her hounds! I am the Mother who guards over birth! I
am the Hag who gives her wisdom!
Mine are the charms and hidden sorceries! My torch is the eternal guide of gods and
men!
Erishkigal! Aktiophis! Tridotis! I am nameless unto eternity! Maiden of pregnant moons!
Queen of all realms!
Come forth and follow me!
