Course Objectives:
1. Understand the fundamental principles of entrepreneurship, ideation, and planning,
specifically in the context of medical devices.
2. Develop skills to identify and evaluate business opportunities, conduct market research,
and create a business model.
3. Learn how to design a sustainable business plan for a medical device startup, addressing
technological, financial, and regulatory challenges.
4. Gain practical knowledge in pitching an idea, securing funding, and managing a new
venture in the medical device industry.
Course Outcomes:
1. Apply entrepreneurial thinking to the ideation and planning stages of developing a
medical device business.
