 Full Name: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar

 Born: April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

 Family: Son of Ramesh Tendulkar (a Marathi novelist) and Rajni Tendulkar.

 Childhood: Inspired by cricket at a very young age. His brother, Ajit Tendulkar, recognized his
talent and introduced him to coach Ramakant Achrekar.

 Schooling: Attended Sharadashram Vidyamandir, where he honed his cricketing skills.

 Debut: At the age of 16, Sachin debuted for India against Pakistan in Karachi (1989).
