Hi-TECH THERM FF-1
Pre-commissioning Cleaning Fluid
After installing but before actual
starting of the plant the cleanups
and checks may be undertaken,
so that the plant can efficiently
start.
Normally new plants have many
contamination in the thermo pack system as #
Metal corrosion # Rusting # Welding dots #
Metal surface chemicals # Parts of packing
material # residual of leakage test material #
rust prevention chemical of pump ,valve and
other accessories # contamination entered
through manual errors.
To clear the system form above hazards, thermic
fluid compatible flushing fluid “ Hitech Therm FF-1”
is recommended.”Hitech Therm FF-1” is a oil soluble
fluid added with surfactant and emulsifiers and is
neutral in nature.
New Oil After Cleaning
Procedure of Cleaning with “ Hitech Therm FF-1”
1. Make sure that plant is thoroughly installed and only insulation part is pending.
2. Check that electric connection and sensors are properly fitted and working.
3. Fill the complete system with “ Hitech Therm FF-1”
4. Start the circulation
5. Check the leakages and repair them.
6. Raise the temperature up to 99’C in the normal way with continue circulation of
fluid.
7. Raise next 36’C temperature very slowly and at the same time go on checking the
moisture removal by observing at expansion tank.
8. Run the system at 135’C Temperature for next 4 hours.
9. Cool the fluid to 60’C and Drain it from as many points as possible.
10. Give the air pressure to remove any fluid remained in the non gravity drain areas.
11. Fill the new Thermic fluid and Raise temperature to required level and start the
production.

Important note
In spite of best efforts in draining out
“Hitech Therm FF-1” to maximum
extent there are chances of
remaining a little fluid in the system
but you can fill the thermic fluid and
run the plant as FF-1 is fully
compatible with new oil and it
chemistry is such that it will not harm
the parameters and performance of
new oil.
