Herbivore : Animals that eats plants are called herbivores .


Example: cow, goat ,sheep ,horse ,
Carnivore: Animals that eats meat of other animals
E xample: lion , tiger
Omnivore : Animals that eats plants and meat of other animals
Example : man , bear
Vertebrates : Animals having skeleton inside .
Invertebrates : Animals having skeleton outside in the form of
shells.

 All the things around us can be divided into two main groups :

LIVING THINGS Non-living things

living things Move . eat , grow, Non -living things do not Move .

Breathe and produce babies eat , grow,breathe and reproduce

Vertebrates :

 Some animals have a skeleton inside their body .


 That means they have back bone present inside .
 We call them vertebrates .
 All vertebrates have bones .
 Camel , Rabbit , Horse , birds , snake , man ,
 Dog , cat , monkey . lion tiger , ( Animals ) are some vertebrates .

In vertebrates :

 Some animals have skeleton present outside their bodies


 These animals have shells , or no hard parts at all.
 They don’t have a backbone .
 We call these animals invertebrates .
 Examples are : jelly fish , octopus ,worms & starfish etc.
