Instructions
Learn essential Excel data cleaning techniques to prepare data for analysis.
1. Adjust row and column to fit the content.
2. Find and replace specific text or values. Delete all content within parentheses,
including the parentheses themselves. Then convert the text into lowercase.
3. Convert Client column data from uppercase to lowercase.
4. Remove extra spaces and capitalize the first letter of each word in Contact
column.
5. Split the text in the department column into separate columns, with a new
column dedicated to storing the city.
6. Remove duplicate rows or columns.
7. Fill empty cells with appropriate values. (N/A for payment, 0 for numeric
values)
8. Handle errors in formulas and return a specified value. Use IFERROR function
and return "error".
9. Apply appropriate formatting to cells (e.g., date format, number formats, colors,
fonts).
10. Save your file with the format SECTION-SURNAME1-SURNAME2-LAB2
and upload it to google drive
