Activity/Process Description
The use of the George foreman grill
Hazards present.
Fire, smoke inhalation, electrocution, spillages, food allergies.
Existing Control Measures.

 Portable appliance testing for the George Foreman grill is completed annually.
 Visual inspection priori to each use.
 Always attended when in use.
 Tongs used to prevent contact with the grilling plate.
 Thorough cleaning of the George Foreman after each use.
 Fire blanket always nearby when in use.
 No combustibles within 1 metre of the grill when it is in use or hot.
 Spill mat in place to catch oil spillages
 Allergies information for ingredients sought and sent out. Any relevant allergies is requested from staff. To be sent
to Martin Short.
