To inspire the community, I used catchy slogans during the campaign:

🔹 “A clean India is the best India.”
🔹 “Don’t be mean — keep your surroundings clean.”
🔹 “Clean city, healthy city, smart city.”
🔹 “Your waste, your responsibility.”
🔹 “Stop littering. Start caring.”
Self-Made Jingle
“Kachra kachre mein daalo,
Dharti ko mat tum badnaam karo.
Safai rakho apne gaon ki,
Dharti ko phir se shaan karo.”

Introduction
The Swachhata Abhiyan promotes hygiene and encourages citizens to keep their
surroundings clean. Inspired by this cause, I chose this project to spread
awareness about cleanliness and improve the environment in my locality.
Description of Activities Performed
• Organized a cleanliness drive in the locality, focusing on removing plastic
waste and litter.
• Installed and labelled dustbins for dry and wet waste.
• Conducted door-to-door awareness to encourage responsible waste disposal.
• Created posters and distributed slogan pamphlets to promote hygiene.
• Worked with children in the area to educate them on hand-washing and toilet
hygiene.
Skills Learned
✔ Teamwork
✔ Leadership
✔ Communication & community handling
✔ Planning and responsibility
✔ Time management
Impact
The area became visibly cleaner, more residents started segregating waste, and
younger children began following hygiene practices. The project created a sense
of shared responsibility among community members.
Conclusion
Swachhata Abhiyan has made me realize that real change begins with simple
actions. By cleaning our surroundings, we clean our minds and hearts. I aim to
continue promoting this cause even after the completion of the SEWA project
and inspire more people to join the path of cleanliness.
