Inequalities between men are women are highlighted in homes as women tend to be
violated by their spouse, offices where women have lower wage then men, politics
wherein women have lesser number in political participation or representation in
decision-making structures, women are over-represented among the poor, and more
women and girls experience human-trafficking and sex trades. These inequalities need
to be addressed in efforts to promote gender equality.
