THESIS INTRODUCTION

Name of the project : APJ Abdul Kalam Science City.

Location: It is located at Rajendra Nagar, Patna.

Site Area: 82,900 sqm

Funding Authorities : Department of Science & Technology (DST),


Govt. of Bihar (400 Cr)

Aim and Objective : . It aims to promote and popularize science


as well as demonstrating and preserving the history of scientific
development in Bihar.

Major requairements : It is to have four galleries: Body and


Mind, Space and Astronomy, Basic science, Sustainable planet
consisting of 243 interactive and realistic exhibits.
A dormitory having a capacity of 200 students.

Detail requairements :
 It is to have four learning suites: Marker Space, Big Data
Centre, Demo Kitchen and a gym, on first floor for children
who visit during a study tour or excursion.
 The dormitory is to accommodate 200 students connected to
the learning suites.
 Along with the same there will be a Grand Atrium lobby for
entrance, Orientation Theatre, Multipurpose Halls,
Temporary Exhibition Halls, 500 seater Auditorium, 300
seater Cafeteria, 4D Theatre, Retails spaces, Bio Diversity Park
and many more to enchant the commuters to its beauty.

Name of the project : MITHILA CHITRAKALA SANSTHAN.

Location: It is located at Saurath ,Madhubani, Bihar.

Site Area: 6.5 Acre

Funding Authorities : Department of Art and Culture Govt.


of Bihar (58 Cr)

Aim and Objective : . It aims to promote and popularize


art,culture and Mithila painting. The 'sansthan' will aim to
provide direct market linkage to the artists.

Major requairements : Assistant room, director chamber,


accounts office, conference room, canteen, class rooms,
multipurpose hall , staff room, green room, vip room, hostel
block.

Name of the project : Anjuman islamia hall.

Location: It is located at Ashok Rajpath ,near PMCH, Patna.

Site Area: 1.25 acre.

Funding Authorities : Bihar Government.
