1. Procedure text that explains how something works or how to


use instruction / manual operation, for example, how to use
computer, how to record video. how to use plaroid camera.
2. Procedure text that instructs how to perform certain activities,
for example, how to make a noodle, how to dance, how to play
basketball.
3. Procedure text related to human behavior, for example, how to
succeed, how to live happily, how to be a good person.
Generic Structure
⦁ Goal: give information about the purpose of acivity or action to be
done or made it later.

⦁ Materials or ingriedients: contains a list of materials needed


to carry out a procedure or steps.

⦁ Steps: a list of instruction/activity or tips to do something in


correct ways.
- Use simple present tense
- Use imperative sentence ( ex: boil the water,
serve the fried banana on the plate)
- Use temporal conjuctions/numbering ( ex:
first, second, then, finally, firstly etc)
How to make a warm Tea
Steps :
Ingredients :
1. Boil a kettle of water.

Warm water 2. Take the glass and pour warm water into it.
3. Put the tea bags in glass with warm water.
Tea bags 4. Dowse and pull the tea bags.
5. Add the sugar to the glass.
Sugar
6. Stir the water slowly to make the water, sugar, and tea mixed.
7. The warm tea is ready to be enjoyed.
