Bagian Kedua - Operasi Pesawat Udara
Pasal 41
1) Setiap orang yang mengoperasikan pesawat udara untuk kegiatan
angkutan udara wajib memiliki sertifikat.
2) Sertifikat sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1) terdiri atas:
a. sertifikat operator pesawat udara (air operator certificate), yang
diberikan kepada badan hukum Indonesia yang mengoperasikan
pesawat udara sipil untuk angkutan udara niaga; atau
b. sertifikat pengoperasian pesawat udara (operating certificate),
yang diberikan kepada orang atau badan hukum Indonesia yang
mengoperasikan pesawat udara sipil untuk angkutan udara
bukan niaga.

1) Setiap orang yang mengoperasikan Pesawat Udara
tanpa awak kegiatan Angkutan Udara Niaga atau
non-niaga wajib memiliki sertifikat pengoperasian
Pesawat Udara tanpa awak.
2) Sertifikat pengoperasian Pesawat Udara tanpa awak
sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1), dapat menjadi
bagian sertifikat operator Pesawat Udara atau
pengoperasian Pesawat Udara telah dimiliki.

 VALIDITY OF AOC CERTIFICATE

CASR Part 119.39 Duration of Certificate and

Air Operator Certificate or RPAS Operating Certificate valid for a
maximum 60 (sixty) calendar months, unless :
1. The certificate holder surrenders; or
2. The Director General suspends or revokes the certificate.

An Operating Certificate shall continue in effect indefinitely, unless

 RENEWAL OF VALIDITY AOC CERTIFICATE

CASR Part 119.39 Duration of Certificate and Operations

Specifications
 AOC or ROC holder may be renew if the applicant forwards the
application to the Director General at least 60 (sixty) consecutive
calendar days before expiration of the Certificate
 A certificate which has been suspended may be renew if the applicant
applies to the Director General at least 60 (sixty) consecutive calendar
days before resumption of the operations.

 AMANDEMENT OF AOC CERTIFICATE

CASR Part 119.43 Amendement of Certificate

An applicant for an amendment to an operating

certificate must file its application with the
DGCA at least 30 days before the Proposed
effective date of that amendment, unless a
shorter filing period is allowed.
