POLYNOMIAL
FUNCTION
POLYNOMIAL FUNCTION
Is a function of the form where n is a
nonnegative integer, are real numbers called
coefficients, is the leading term, is the leading
coefficient, and is the constant term.

Example:
3 2
𝑃 ( 𝑥 ) = 2 𝑥 +5 𝑥 +7 𝑥 − 5
• decreasing powers of x, the polynomial
function is in standard form.
