THE CHAOS EMPORIUM (ALBUM)

by ARMY of MOTHS

supported by
Rod Novery

Rod Novery Another mighty Moths album that flutters about with beautiful words and music, from the off! The mind images conjured are better than some hallucinogenic experiences! Another Moth release that hits the back of the net, so to speak. Favorite track: All Things Come To Those Who Wait.

derekaom In my opinion the best AOM album so far. I tend to listen to The Nearly Nearly Light first, then listen to the album from the start after that.... So many ideas crammed into one album and clearly the Moths put their heart and soul into it. Favorite track: The Nearly Nearly Light.

Damian Farnes The Chaos Emporium is AoM's most ambitious work to date- it is absolutely crammed with brilliance; every track a gem. The work which has gone into this is staggering. Grandiose, mischievous and magical: a musical kaleidoscope of childhood wonder and nostalgia. The production, arrangements and vocals are sensational.
Easiest 10/10 ever and simply put: the greatest album I have heard since Sing to God by Cardiacs. My happy place has finally found its soundtrack. Absolutely magnificent! Favorite track: Sir Hiram Maxim's Captive Flying Machines.

about

This is the 3rd album by ARMY of MOTHS.

THE CHAOS EMPORIUM is a place.
A real place.
You've been before, but not everyone remembers.

Like a dusty old curiosity shop, quietly nestled at the back of your mind, waiting for you to revisit, and no matter how long it's been, you're always welcome to return.

A knowing place full of long forgotten memories.
A place full of light things, dark things, 'can't believe they're real' things. Where confusion dances with reality. A place where the absurd and the ridiculous are always rewarded and never frowned upon. Where melancholy turns to celebration and trips the light fantastic with blessed contentment. Where all manner of wishes manifest themselves with feeling and always with love.

To be listened to as presented, in its entirety.
Welcome to THE CHAOS EMPORIUM.

about

ARMY of MOTHS UK

A barrage of noises, all bundled together like a black plastic bag full of broken pop music, thrown in the boot of a Ford Cortina and driven into a river of psychedelia, only to resurface with a head full of punk angst....or something.
