𝓢toner rock/metal can be a glorious source of heady, albeit undeviating delight. 'Tis right there in the name. Norway's Kal-El, like many others before them, have addressed Scandinavia's dearth of sunkissed dunery by conceiving some prime, desert-bedeviled heavy rock. Except in 'Dark Majesty', they've gone one smouldering step further and crafted a certified classic. Duly, they take their rightful place beside Kyuss, Monster Magnet, High on Fire and the other masters of that sandy pantheon.
