Cherubs broke up in my hometown of San Diego, outside the old Casbah (which became Kava Lounge, RIP) on tour for this LP. Got into em eight years later, never expecting to hear another note from them.
I burned this CD for so many friends in the early aughts. The usual response: “I’ve been looking for this music my whole life, and now I’ve found it”. There’s nothing like it - Heroin Man is a perfect 10 out of 10.
Missed them when they finally returned to SD - was out of town. Pls come back!
