We want a Union that moves forward together.    Our Cohesion policy acts like a needle and thread, stitching together a stronger EU. It funds projects aiming to reduce social and economic disparities that still exist across the regions of our Union.     For example, it helped finance many infrastructure, including:    🇷🇴 the Brăila Bridge in Romania – the largest bridge over the Danube and Europe's third-longest.  🇧🇬 the extension of the underground line in Sofia  🇪🇸 the Madrid–Barcelona–French border high-speed line    Learn more about our Cohesion Policy → https://europa.eu/!43QqDX    📷 AdobeStock; 1 by Cristi; 2 by uskarp2    #EuropeanUnion

Only through inclusivity can we allow everyone to thrive ♿    This week, the Council of the European Union adopted our proposals to enhance rights for millions of people with disabilities across the EU.     Here’s how they will make a difference:      🆔The European Disability Card: a recognized proof of disability throughout the EU, ensuring cardholders access to essential services in all 27 EU countries, from transport to cultural events.      🅿️ The Enhanced European Parking Card: this will guarantee uniform parking rights across EU countries, providing greater independence for individuals with disabilities.       We trust that these cards will make the EU a more inclusive and fairer place to work and live!     Learn more → https://europa.eu/!G7y89B  #EUDisabilityRights #EUDisabilityCard #UnionOfEquality

On the left ("how it started"), there is an older photo of a young couple standing with large backpacks outside what appears to be a train station in Katowice. They look casual, dressed for travel, with the station's signage in the background.

On the right ("how it's going"), the same couple is seen 5 years later, now dressed for a wedding. The man is wearing a suit, and the woman is in a white wedding dress. They stand in a similar pose in front of the same location, but with the building now bustling in daylight.

The image visually captures the couple's journey from travelers to newlyweds, with the setting remaining the same.
