English: Replica of a skull of the Triassic marine reptile Placodus gigas (apparently based on the holotype specimen from the Muschelkalk of Bayreuth, premaxilla reconstructed without „incisors“ or corresponding alveoli), on display at Naturalis museum, Leiden, The Netherlands.
Deutsch: Abguss eines Schädels des triassischen Meeresreptils Placodus gigas (anscheinend basierend auf dem Holotyp aus dem Muschelkalk von Bayreuth, Prämaxillare ergänzt, ohne die Schneidezähne oder die entsprechenden Zahnfächer), ausgestellt im Naturalis-Museum, Leiden, Niederlande.
