- Info This beautiful photo I found on WLE Russia, I think it is FP worthy. The picture shows the Tolbachik region on the Kamchatka Peninsula. The title means something like Rainbow over volcanic cones, I guess. There are still a few categories missing on the file description page. I would like to invite all reviewers for related category suggestions. Many thanks in advance :)

- Support Bit of graininess can be excused for, given the high resolution. Great rainbow. --Kreuzschnabel 20:50, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

- Support An incredible landscape. Together with the rainbow it looks like a still from a fantasy movie. Gallery link improved. --Aristeas (talk) 09:34, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
- Support A little bit grainy, but wonderful composition. --XRay 💬 11:30, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

- Comment I have been looking at this image for a couple of days. It attracts but it seems more Photoshopped than real. Rainbows come from diffusion of light by water molecules or very fine particulates in the atmosphere. I have yet to capture any rainbow, even near the ends, where the colors are this brilliant without some post-processing augmentation. If the photographer would like to speak to this, I would be interested in his/her comments. --GRDN711 (talk) 05:44, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for your thoughts on the image. When I saw it for the first time I also thought of a Photoshop processing. After some analysis and comparison, I decided to nominate it because images like this are indeed possible. Maybe you can reach the author via a ping or on his discussion page. However, I am afraid that he is one of those photographers who almost exclusively participate in Commons challenges like WLE, WLF or WLM. But according to my research he is also active and present on other platforms under his nickname Ted.ns. Many regards :) -- Radomianin (talk) 09:18, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- Rainbows often tend to be brightest at the bottom, and at 112 mm, this is a very tightly framed composition. It's like how the sky is really blue on an ultrawide but pretty bland on a telephoto, but this time it's reversed. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 04:03, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
