    NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 10:34AM

    Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 6.56%), Pokarna Ltd.(up 3.51%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 1.02%), NMDC Ltd.(up 0.41%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 0.19%) and The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 0.03%) were among the top gainers.

    Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 3.55%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(down 2.32%), KIOCL Ltd.(down 1.80%), 20 Microns Ltd.(down 1.59%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 0.97%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.72%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(down 0.48%) and MOIL Ltd.(down 0.16%) were among the top losers.

    The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 40.25 points at 24295.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 172.05 points at 80512.4 at around 10:34AM.

    Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.44%), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.52%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.4%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.25%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.05%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 0.96%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 0.92%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.8%), Trent Ltd.(up 0.78%) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.78%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

      On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.69%), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.63%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 1.47%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.02%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 0.91%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.9%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.86%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.8%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.73%) and Coal India Ltd.(down 0.68%) were trading in the red.
