    June bank holidays: Banks are closed for 10 days in June 2024; check dates, full state-wise list

    All private and public sector banks will be closed for 10 days in the month of June 2024, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list. Holidays include state-wise regional holidays along with second and fourth Saturdays in the month and all Sundays. Note that this month has five Sundays.

    The central bank designates certain holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) holidays, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.

    Net banking, mobile banking and ATMs can be used when banks are shut
    Though banks will be closed on the mentioned date, online banking is available every day of the week. Customers can make use of ATMs, mobile applications, or websites of the banks when bank branches are closed. However, it should be noted that for any physical visit to the bank, make plans by checking the state-specific holiday list in case you require assistance from bank employees.

      • June 15: Banks will be closed in Mizoram will be closed for YMA Day and banks in Odisha will be closed for Raja Sankranti.
      • June 17 (Monday)- Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha)- Bakri Eid banks will remain closed across India, except in Mizoram, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh.
      • June 18 (Tuesday): Banks will be closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha).
