I personally thought any block rationale that involved an arbcom case you need to tag with an "AE block". I was deliberate and careful with the block. I just used (apparently) a wrong rationale. No need to for me to be "sanctioned" just because I didn't know how ArbCom Enforcement exactly worked. I was just volunteering in what I thought it was a backlog. Please do respond to this query, preferably on the template talk page. I am also concerned about your use of protection to stop good faith edits coupled with a reluctance to say why you oppose the changes. I also find the view that [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:AGK&diff=634142486&oldid=634141421 the committee's pages are its own] unacceptable, incompatible with the ethos of this project, and outdated. I intend shortly to lower the protection of this template back to template-protected, as there is no evidence that this was insufficient. : The template exists to allow the committee to do its job; that is why the community wrote into policy the stewardship of arbitration case pages (and associated templates). This still is the case and has not changed in the years since I joined the committee. Given that you take a different view, I would simply suggest that you consider this in broader terms than what protection of the template looks like. These templates only help arbitrators resolve disputes; they are not a bureaucracy of their own. Making edit requests or interfering with the template, while certainly done in good faith (I resent it being implied that I thought otherwise), distracts arbitrators from what, frankly, are tasks much more important to the project.<p>For my own part, I have to try very hard to make time to attend to my basic duties as an arbitrator. This thread has taken a further ten minutes of my time; I don't exaggerate when I say those are ten minutes I really can't spare. ''This'' is why arbitrators and clerks have control over the small set of pages that relate to arbitration – because the wiki model just doesn't work on them.
