FYI
[edit]That IP at Talk:Intelligence quotient is a very likely block evading. The line of argument they're pursuing has been raised and dismissed many times. And when you engage with a WP:SEALION you're likely to get dragged into the water by your nose. Generalrelative (talk) 05:17, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- It's block evasion and meat-puppetry from Captain Occam and his group of far-right followers. They have realized that if they create accounts they will get blocked so they use throwaway IPs. They make around 20-40 edits on an IP then they dump it and then remove to another. When they are not trolling Wikipedia they are editing Justipedia. It's been going on for years on these talk-pages. The only way to solve this is better talk-page protection, but that is only likely to be done for sock-puppetry as seen here Psychologist Guy (talk) 12:53, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you both for alerting me to this sock-puppet ring and for monitoring these articles. I would support any talk-page protection measures that you seek if you go that route Superb Owl (talk) 16:25, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. User:Namiba 17:36, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
I added one discussion
[edit]I think the argument about it should not on my personal Talk-page but the Talk-page of "Transnational repression". So I added the topic. MINQI (talk) 14:01, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- In the future, you can just link to that topic on the existing discussion Superb Owl (talk) 20:10, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

More guidlines on civility and discussion conduct
[edit]I recommend reviewing WP:CIVILITY, WP:Advice for hotheads, WP:BLUDGEONING,WP:GAME,WP:RSP and Wikipedia:NPOV given the history of your edits on Transnational repression,List of public broadcasters by country and List of state media by Country..
Your edits seems to be approaching Tendentious editing and WP:GAME so please review these guidelines, MINQI (talk) 21:56, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Just for reference for others who see this notice, that it was in response to my posting a similar notice on @MINQI talk page: User talk:MINQI#More guidlines on civility and discussion conduct Superb Owl (talk) 23:19, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Just for reference for others who see this notice, it is not in response to Superb Owl's posting a similar notice on my talk page. Someone has WP:ABF, double standard and mischaracterized other editors' actions to make them seem unreasonable, improper, or deserving of sanction again. MINQI (talk) 17:42, 23 November 2024 (UTC)

DYK for Sanewashing
[edit]On 25 November 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sanewashing, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that both Tim Walz and JD Vance were accused of sanewashing in the 2024 vice presidential debate? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sanewashing. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Sanewashing), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
