Hello Gordon!

Black Mesa was an album I simply had to do. I grew up playing Half Life 1 and I was always interested in the daily life inside the complex. Besides shooting headcrabs I probably took the tourist tour through Black Mesa; observing all the offices and signs of normal life. Vaporwave and mallsoft are all about that office life so I wanted to create an ode to one of my favorite games. At this same time I came across music by Mezzaluna and wanted to collab with them on something. They liked the idea of creating an ode to Half Life so we went for it! Where my side explores the mallsoft side of Black Mesa, Mezzaluna’s side explores what happened after.
