Either slash or colon not working #3291

I'm fairly certain this behaviour works. Are you looking at the status bar? Have you tried actually running some commands like |

I've had this issue twice in the last 3 years and if anybody else ever has this issue just reboot your computer, idk how else it happens or how to actually fix it without such a drastic workaround |

No way to get into command mode using colon(:). Either slash or question mark to search string now working.
To Reproduce
Try either colon, slash, or question(?). Nothing works

Get into command mode by using them
