Here is a picture of my first echo (received June 9), and the set up that I got it from.
June 13, 2016 work
Data from the Murgen board was collected in MATLAB, but the code for
scan conversion is in Python.
Noise reduction was done by returning the absolute value of the output
to remove negative noise and then a log greyscale was implemented.
Today I got the Beaglebone to pulse the the Murgen board to get images
(Gain voltage of 0.7V and current of 0.086A). Beaglebone sends the
positive and negative pulses from P9_22 and 21 respectively. I worked
on the software side of image processing, implementing a high pass
filter, hilbert transformation, and scan conversion. Data, codes, and
images are included.
Next steps: hardware side of image processing (Murgen), data collection
from BB, and image processing on BeagleBone.
I went through various TPs today, measuring between them to try to see
how the signal was processed by the Murgen board. I was expecting an
envelope at TP8, but it only seemed to give me the same signal as
between TP2 and TP3, but with less gain.
Those same TP echoes as before, but at different screen settings to see
the entire pulse, not just the echo
