Jazz flutist Henriette Eilertsen (b. 1993) has once again taken up her flute and pen, this time creating a work aimed at capturing different aspects of patience through music. "Om tålmodighet" («Regarding Patience"), released on Nice Things Records, is a commissioned piece written for the composer collective OJKOS (Orchestra for Jazz Composers in Oslo), which Eilertsen co-founded in 2018.

This album marks the culmination of her musical journey with the collective and is a deeply personal work that encapsulates years of creative exploration and collaboration. "Om tålmodighet" consists of
10 compositions that reflect on the concept of patience in both music and life. Throughout the album, the delicate and contemplative nature of the flute leads and shapes the jazz orchestra OJKOS.

Some tracks are fully composed and conclusive, while others have a more abstract agenda. Through Eilertsen's characteristic flute playing in collaboration with OJKOS, listeners are invited to experience a
profound musical journey. From moments of meditative melodies to more dynamic and exploratory passages, the album creates a soundscape that both challenges and soothes.
