This meditative and dynamic sound composition is called “Obah-Osik”. Obah-Osik in Javanese means “moving each others", these three compositions’ titles are translated into three tracks that taken from Javanese dance philosophy, such as Wiraga (ragawi), Wirama (irama dan ritme), and Wirasa (penghayatan). Obah-Osik is composed using the approach of exploring, recording, and manipulating various sounds, such as gamelan, metals, woods, as well as percussion which are then tested, juxtaposed, aligned, and trying to adapt them to the sounds which produced by digital instruments. This experimentation process is a form of testing communication between sources and types of sounds that have existed from the past to the present and questioning the new possibilities in the future as a window into more complex memories from different time and space.
