Susanna Brownell Anthony (nata 15 Februarii anno 1820, 13 Martii 1906 mortua) fuit iurum mulierum vindicatrix qui magnas partes in certamine pro suffragio mulierum in Civitatibus Foederatis egit. Familia Tremebunda et aequalitati omnium hominum dedita nata, aetate sua 17 petitiones contra servitutem collegit, et anno 1856 facta est agens Neoeboracensis pro Societate Americana Contra Servitutem.
Anno 1851 convenit Elisabeth Cady Stanton, quae amica et socia facta est in res cultus civilis corrigendas per totam vitam, praesertim quod ad iura mulierum pertinet, et simul talium causarum societates multas fundabant. Anno 1852, Anthony quominus orationem in conventu temperantiae haberet, eo quod mulier esset, interdicta, Societatatem Civilem Feminarum Temperantiae condiderunt. Anno 1863, condiderunt Ligam Nationalem Mulierum, quae maiorem petitionum quaesitum quam umquam antea habitus erat in Civitatibus Foederatis incitavit, et 400 000 nomina subsignata collegit eorum qui servitui abolendo favebant. Anno 1876, Anthony et Stanton cum Matilda Iocosa Gage laborem susceperunt qui denique factus est Hisoriae Suffragii Mulierum libri sex. Anno 1872, Anthony, suffrago in urbe sua Roffa in Novo Eboraco contra legem lato, comprehensa et, post causam valde divulgatam, condemnata est. Mulctam solvere recusavit, sed civitas rem persequi nolebat. Anno 1878 Anthony et Stanton effecerunt ut Congressui praesentaretur nova lex prima Constitutioni addendam, qua ius suffragii mulieribus daretur, vulgo Athony Amendment id est fere, Lex Antonia Fundimentalis dicta. Quam legem a senatore Aarone A. Sargent inlata, facta est Undecima Emendatio Consitutioni Civitatum Foederatarum. anno 1920.
Ad ius suffragii mulierum defendendum, Anthony per terram itinera facere solebat, orationes inter septuagenas quinas et centenas in annum habens, et multa in certamina politica laborans. Etiam foris patriae suae iura mulierum defendebat, et inter Concilii Mulierum Inter Gentes (quod usque ad nostram aetatem exstat) creatrices fuit. Etiam efficiendi Congressus Totius Orbis Feminarum Repraesentativarum inter Expositionem Columbianam Totius Orbis Sicagi anno 1893 habitam auxilium tulit.
Cum primum certari coepit, Anthony irridebatur, eique obiectum est se institutum et morem matrimonii perdere velle. At per vitam eius imago a populo imaginata mutabatur, et dies natalis 80 in Aedibus Albis, invocante ipso Praesidis Gulielmo McKinley, celebrata est. Anno 1979, facta est prima mulier nisi ficiticia quae in nummis Civitatum Foederatarum depingeretur, nam eius imago in nummis singulorum dollarium imprimi coepit.
