Detroit-born, NYC-based LAUREN FLAX is undoubtedly one of our favorite producers ever. The amount of incredible releases she has put out on labels like Nervous, UTTU, or 2MR are out of this world. From massive collaborations with artists such as SIA, Kim Ann Foxman, or Jimmy Edgar to world tours, her remarkable career was recently celebrated by DJ Mag, who featured her on the cover of the magazine.
As a pioneer of the Ghetto House sound, it's safe to say that Moveltraxx owes much to DJ SLUGO. An actual legend celebrated by everyone from Daft Punk to Nina Kraviz, with a catalog of classics that is simply unparalleled. From 'Wouldn't You Like To Be A Hoe' to 'Where The Rats' to 'A Blunt' to 'DJs On The Low,' the list goes on...
As huge fans of both artists, we could not be more thrilled to release this record on Moveltraxx.
