fravasquez Fantastic musicians. Music is very good particularly when they go the funk way. A bit too much on the "acid jazz' side for my taste but nonetheless a very enjoyable jazz release. Deja Funk is great, and Brahma Jam reminds me of a certain Gong vibe when they were at their peak in the 70's. Favorite track: Brahma Jam.

A solid "fusion" album that flirts a bit with most of the jazz styles from the 40s on and somewhat heavily with free jazz. Not so much that it's going to have you rummaging through the medicine cabinet for the ibuprofen or that it's going to take you half a dozen listens to get it but just enough to add a pleasant, artsy complexity to things. ...An excellent album by some masterful, experienced musicians. rick-taylor
