thenewspaper what the - is this Chemical Playschool a concept album?? It has a narrative flow... hearkens me back to CP 8&9 with its efx'd vocal intro, and chill veneer of bassy beats with interludes of folk guitar.
Fans of the lush Golden Age Dots will enjoy the full-bodied arrangements, absent only of the time-free, distant, ambient riffs of the Silverman that tripped out previous installments. In a way, this one feels more like a non-CP album... so what will this album's promised twin sound like?? Favorite track: Good Fight.

I love having this in CDR format because: a) it is Edward; b) I have The Quarantine Tapes of which this is the first “volume” and, like it or not, cassette tapes are cool but they are not ultra-durable; c) the music is fabulous (OK, this should probably be the first reason, but since I already have the cassette, it must languish at “c”); and d) hopefully this means the remaining three volumes of The Quarantine Tapes will be released as lovingly made CDRs.
