A73 is an electronic music project by producer Roel Janssen (Space Exposure) and musician/artist Domien Paul Bastiaans (Aristocraat van de Straat).

After the debut album A73 (released on March 1, 2024) there is now the EP ZOAB with five new tracks.

The EP is a reference to ZOAB (Zeer Open Asfalt Beton) on the A73 highway, the lifeline to the south. Rijkswaterstaat has been using ZOAB as a coating on motorways since 1987. ZOAB has excellent water permeability and noise reduction.

On ZOAB EP music styles such as techno, electro and ambient blend together with (stretched) piano and guitar parts. The sound is gritty, dark, playful, lo-fi and raw but also hopeful with sometimes sunny verge and forest edges. Experimental, groovy and cinematic.
