Having crossed paths many times over the years via the S27 imprint, releases as Floating Spirits and Mitoma separately and remixing each others' work, Peltiform is a collaborative project directed by Nathan Story and Tam Ferrans that has released two albums via S27 - "Futurism" (2022) and "Like Phantoms" (April 2024).

In October 2024 the project also debuts on Mahorka with "Numerik". The material featured on this new Peltiform EP is taken from left over track sessions from around the same time as what would become "Like Phantoms" was in the works. Although from same sessions and connected, these tracks had their own different feel and did not end up fitting in the aforementioned album. Instead, they were further refined into "Numerik", a release that serves as much as a companion piece to "Like Phantoms" and closes the arc as it is also standing out on its own. The EP also features alternate versions of previously released album tracks and collaborations with Room of Wires and Dissolved.
