𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼-𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗪𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 As AWS Community Day West Africa comes to an end, I’m taking a moment to reflect on my incredible journey co-leading the #Branding and #Design team, bringing the vision of Africa’s largest gathering of cloud enthusiasts to life. Leading a dynamic team of creative professionals was an exciting and rewarding experience. We started by refining the AWS Community logo, ensuring alignment with global AWS standards, and then extended the branding across the entire event. From strategizing the audience journey to designing both digital and print touchpoints—badges, branded shirts, social media visuals, marketing collateral, stationery, and souvenirs—every detail was crafted to deliver a cohesive and impactful brand experience in alignment the #AWS Community Day brand guideline. Of course, there were challenges! I remember one time, my two laptops both the main and backup developed faults at the same time, and I was like "haaa my village people can not and will not succeed in Jesus name" took them to my engineer got them fixed and we moveeeee... The event, hosted by AWS Cloud Security User Group West Africa, AWS Nigeria User Group (ANUG), showcases this year's theme, "Next-Gen Solutions: Uniting AWS Infrastructure, Local Zones, and Generative AI for Global Impact." Reflecting on AWS Community Day West Africa 2024: A Transformative Experience Today, I had the privilege of being part of the organizing committee for AWS Community Day West Africa 2024, held at Queens Park Events, Victoria Island, Lagos. It’s been an incredible journey, and I want to share how this experience has positively impacted me both personally and professionally. Being involved in this event allowed me to appreciate more, the importance of teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication. One of the most rewarding aspects was the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in the AWS ecosystem such as Ewere Diagboya, Imoh Etuk Stephen Howell Rachel Adeshina Witah Georjane kenneth nwankwo Jamiu Kunle Ayinde Frank-Felix Felix David Quagraine and so on. I deepened my knowledge of cloud technologies, but more importantly, I got to meet and network with amazing professionals across the tech industry. These connections have already sparked exciting conversations and future collaboration opportunities. I’m truly grateful for this experience, as it has boosted my confidence and expanded my professional network in ways I hadn’t imagined. Amazing Day at AWS Community Day Lagos I had the incredible opportunity to attend the AWS Community Day conference today at Queens Event Center, Lekki. The focus of the event was "Using AWS Infrastructure, Local Zones, and Generative AI for Global Impact, and it was an eye-opener💡 The speakers delivered insightful talks on how AWS is driving innovation and transforming industries. From discussions on AI to infrastructure solutions, it was great to see how AWS is shaping the future of technology, especially in our local context. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, I had the pleasure of networking with some of the best minds in the industry.
