my god. he never plays this instrument from the outside, rather he plays deep within it, absorbing as he presses keys, the materials, space and vibrations w such an honesty that the most intensely beautiful stories of sound can be the only result. thank u for taking us with you to this sacred place. all recordings are exceptional. I can't get over how superb this album is. It's one of the few full-albums purchases I've made in a very long time. It's been about a month now and I've listened to it all the way through several times. Nils' moods and textures are so musical and smooth, I feel like I've been transported to another place and time.
